A sandbank dinner (or lunch) can only be done during the low tide. Good weather and low wind speeds are also essential for a good experience. A Sandbank Diner will therefore always be planned in collaboration.

It doesn’t just feel as if you’re far away from civilization, you are. That also means we’re pretty far from our kitchen.
That is why we will compose a special menu, together, beforehand.
About the Sandbank
A sandbank is actually the bottom of the sea. It becomes accessible during the low tide and consists of hard sand. Not unlike a regular beach making it a perfect surface to walk and dine on.
For this dinner, or lunch, we will take you to the ‘’Engelsmanplaat’’. This bank is approximately 5 km from the coast, right in between the isles of Schiermonnikoog and Ameland. And has a surface stretching just shy of 1 km square.
